My journey with yoga and movement began at the age of 20, evolving into a transformative practice that continues to shape my life today. What started as a passion for fitness and movement grew into a powerful tool for healing as I worked through my recovery from addiction. I shifted my focus from asking, "Why the addiction?" to "Why the pain?"—leading me to explore the deep connection between the body and healing. Through yoga, I learned to sit with my emotions, release stored trauma, and cultivate self-compassion, seeing my body as a vessel for transformation.
For the past 15 years, I've also been a teacher, witnessing firsthand the profound impact of mental health on children. My passion for guiding others goes beyond the classroom, helping both children and adults discover self-love, authenticity, and inner peace through movement. My yoga classes offer a gentle, compassionate approach, blending music, reflective readings, and intentional movement to help people access deeper layers of healing. Whether it's anger, sadness, or frustration, I create a safe space for individuals to acknowledge, release, and transform these emotions through the mind-body connection.
When I’m not teaching or leading retreats, I find joy in life's simple pleasures—spending time with my family, connecting with friends, exploring nature, biking, walking, and embracing peace in the everyday.
